She had a cute smile as she looked out of the portrait.
Though, her bright smile did not cover the creepy part of the portrait.
The left eye of the girl’s portrait was burning with a circle of fresh burn marks. It ruined the overall warm beauty of it. At first, it was the size of a cigarette butt, then it gradually spread.
After meeting her eyes for more than a second, Annan suddenly entered a trance.
“Don’t move, Elle.”
He suddenly heard a somewhat familiar voice.
It seemed to be the painter’s voice.
From Annan’s mouth, there was a clear and lovely response, “Okay, Dad.”
At this time, the world in front of him gradually became clear.
He found that his angle of view was slightly lowered. He sat on a soft bed, at least much more delicate than the bed in Salvatore’s room.

hmm.. so how did the priest clear it if he didn’t enter the deep nightmare by staring at the portrait/s?
Good question indeed. We’re definitely certain he purify it multiple times. But, what did he do exactly?
I think he should have entered it once or more and cleared it else he wouldn’t have memory that staring at the portratits would be a bad move and he found a different way to clear it
The priest is stronger than Annan, so he can probably bulldoze through the dungeon with some luck. Also, maybe he can feel his level of erosion, so he can more or less guess that every time he looked at the portraits, he would fail, plus the fact that none of his successes involved them seemed like a good hint.
